Beacon Talent Group was a new player in the executive recruitment industry, yet the principals were not. They envisioned their new company as powerful, professional, and sophisticated and tasked us to bring their vision to life through their branding and identity.

By defining the brand first, we created a strategic map that would serve as a checklist for all the company’s future marketing efforts. What emerged was a clear brand story and voice.

We came up with the name “beacon” because it evokes a sense of reliability, possibility and direction. It would position the recruitment agency as a guiding light to success.

The identity design process was an exploration in iconography to bring the beacon definition to life.

The creative expression is bold yet simple. The Beacon branding reflects the partners’ experience, knowledge, and positions them as a trusted boutique search firm focused on aligning the needs and interests of their clients and candidates.

Based on the user profiles and user journey’s, we created a sitemap wireframe. The site content was then organized, written and prioritized around the key behaviours for a seamless and simple user experience.
